About Tess

My pronouns are she/her/hers. Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Oregon in 2015. I deeply value the interpersonal relationships that shape our lives, both personally and professionally. When I’m not working, I like to find balance through contrast—whether that’s a quiet streamside walk near Mt. Hood or the energy of a new restaurant with friends. I love visiting my family on the East Coast, and I feel privileged to be able to travel and see the world with my partner.

Professional Focus

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and CADC-I with a Master’s from Rutgers University. My practice is social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA2S+ centered. Along with working with adults, I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, college, and professional burnout. I am poly- and kink-affirming.

Approach

My work is active and exploratory, blending Relational and Narrative modalities with a focus on multicultural therapy. I help clients navigate the complexities of human relationships and the "interlocking triggers" that occur when our unique emotional languages collide.
